You must be a man.However, there are other branches of Freemasonry that accept women, and both women and men. .
You must be of good moral character.All canditates for membership undergo an interview and investigation process.
You must be at least eighteen years of age.Some juristictions around the world require candidates to be at least twenty-one years of age.
You must believe in a Supreme Being.Although Freemasonry requires a belief in God, or some higher power, our fraternity welcomes members of allfaiths. A Mason's concept of the Supreme Being is left to his own interpretation.
